  In the summer of 2012, my gum recession started to look really scary. I decided to seek treatment for the periodontal disease that I was ignoring. I made appointments with three periodontists in the South Jersey area who each did an evaluation and provided a treatment plan for my gums. They were OK, but I did not really feel that good about any of them.
  
  I decided to try one more doctor. I looked in the American Board of Periodontology’s directory of Diplomates and found Dr. Gail Childers. What is a Diplomate, you ask? A periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and is certified by the American Board of Periodontology. Everyone was super professional. I knew immediately that this was the practice for me.
  
  Dr. Childers has performed gum grafts, gum surgery, bone grafts and guide tissue regeneration therapy on me with excellent results. If you have gum disease, I recommend that you start treatment now. Surgery is no laughing matter but the laughing gas did make the experience very stress and pain free!
  
  The office manager, dental hygienist and technicians all provide exceptional service. I would give Dr. Gail Childers the highest rating because of his skill as a surgeon and his integrity. He is a real "top doc"!
